O! Great Satan Oh how you trick us Deceive us, and sell us short How you amuse us Befuddle and befool us While we gawk and drool Our vacant eyes flashing with reflected colors Your illicit and misleading arguments Suck up our will (McDonald's; McStarbuck's; McDollars; McLies) Your pure evil rests in your ability to take any group of people -- writers, scientists; friends, lovers -- And zombiefy them all McFry their brains with your nonstop nonsense Your incessant intrusions and incantations Your being the Topic of so many worthless workplace conversations How rudely you interrupt just when someone is about to make a good point Your inescapable lure (pictures plus words!) Poor paper Rueful radio Alas class and learning Now pleasant background noise Usurper of Evil -- I have my eye on you! why, just last night on the 10 o'clock news I saw a story about the Prince of Lies, grown fat and vegetative, spending the rest of his days watching you. |
