Bathing in my Soul I stumble upon a saddening thought Buried deep within my mind As I glance inwards, soul searching My whiteness turned to ebony, darkness Swimming in the pools of ink, I come upon a sliver Of shining silver that was my love And as I float among the waves Rust invades the final strand Outwards looking makes me bown my head For in the world all good souls are dead So as I sleep I dream of ivory And sail the seas of fading light Watching poor day o'ercome by night. |
